Human beings are in the habit of ignoring the root causes of a problem and killing themselves trying to solve the effect of the problem.
War is an effect, not the cause.
Some of the causes of war are greediness, deception, quarreling, double-crossing, dishonesty, ignorance, stupidity and politics.
These are the issues we should be working on.
When we can address them, war would vanish.
Otherwise war will continue.

America is currently loathsome to many countries in the world because in the past its foreign policy had been flawed and less than desirable.
